TRAINING FAQ’s.

How often should I eat?

  • You should eat every  2 ½ to 3 hours to help keep your metabolism burning.

How often should I weigh myself?

  • The scale is your worst enemy because it’s not a good indicator of your progress and can fluctuate very easily. You should only weigh yourself when you are going to check your body fat percentage.

How many hours should I be sleeping per day and why is it important?

  • Ideally you should be trying to sleep 7 hours/day. When you don’t sleep enough your cortisol levels rise. This is the stress hormone that is associated with fat gain. Sleeping helps the recovery process and is just as important as your fitness and nutrition.

How much water should I drink?

  • At least a gallon a day. Water helps eliminate waste and aids your digestive system process the foods you are eating throughout the day. You also need to stay hydrated for the high-intensity workouts you will be doing.

If I’m following a meal plan and work out often why am I not losing weight?

  • If you feel your effort has been 100% in every work out then you need to ask yourself if you’ve been following the nutrition plan and/or sleeping enough.  But remember…  MUSCLE WEIGHS MORE THAN FAT!  Do not compare yourself to others around you.  Everyone is different and everyone will show improvements in other areas faster than others. Consistency is Key. If you need extra help, talk to anyone of us personally.
